Welcome to the Virtual College and Career Center! We are pleased to offer you this resource. We hope you find it a valuable tool for encouraging the growth of the students to whom you provide valuable support.

The Virtual College and Career Center Can...

  • Help your children stay in school.
  • Teach your children to think about how they will support themselves in the future.
  • Provide reasons to stay out of trouble and in school.
  • Reinforce their interests.
  • Build their skills and strengths.

Help Your Child Succeed!

  • Provide a daily routine that supports the school schedule -- consistent bedtimes and study time during the week.
  • Supply nutritious meals and snacks.
  • Support them in school activities.
  • Look for resources for your child.

How Your Child Uses the Virtual College and Career Center

  • Students log in at a computer at school, home or public library.
  • They will gain access to the website with their own username and password.
  • Your child can explore careers and record progress.
  • The 11-12th grade level includes worksheets to assist in applications to college, trade school, or the military; test scores and a personal resume are also included.
  • CNY jobs are covered in depth, listing schooling requirements, common interests and aptitudes, and links to additional resources.
